Privacy Policy.
Most privacy policies are written by lawyers, for lawyers, to protect lawyers. This one isn’t.
We’ve kept it short, written it in English, and put the important bits in bold so you don’t have to scan eight pages of fine print to find out what we do with your data.
What We Collect
When you fill out the contact form on this website, we ask for your name, your email address, your phone number, and a message describing what you’d like to talk about.
That’s it. We don’t collect anything else without telling you first.
We also use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, what pages they read, and roughly where in the world they’re reading from. This is anonymised. We can’t see who you are personally.
If we ever run ad campaigns that involve Meta Pixel or similar tracking, we’ll update this policy to say so. Right now, we don’t.
Why We Collect It
Your name, email, and phone number, so we can get back to you when you reach out. That’s the entire reason.
Your message, so we know what you’re asking before we reply.
The analytics data, so we know which parts of the website are working and which aren’t. Boring agency stuff.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it. We don’t bundle it up and pass it to a “marketing partner.” Anyone who claims to is lying or has lawyers we wouldn’t trust.
How Long We Keep It
If you fill out the contact form and we end up working together, we keep your details for as long as you’re a client, plus seven years after, because Indian tax law requires it.
If you fill out the contact form and we don’t end up working together, we keep your details for two years, in case you come back. After that we delete them.
If you ever want us to delete everything sooner, just email us. We will. Same day.
Who Else Sees It
Three categories of people can technically see your data:
Us. Obviously. The people running the agency.
Our hosting provider. Hostinger stores this website. They have access to the server. They have their own privacy policy, which is on their site if you want to read it.
Our email and CRM tools. Probably Gmail. Possibly a CRM like HubSpot or Notion if we use one in the future. These tools have their own privacy practices.
That’s it. No one else.
Your Rights
Under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, you have the right to:
Know what data we have about you. Correct anything that’s wrong. Delete it all if you want. Withdraw your consent at any time. Complain to the Data Protection Board if we mess up.
To exercise any of these, email us at hello@nobodycares.agency. We’ll respond within 30 days. Probably much faster.
Security
We do the basics. SSL on the website. Strong passwords. Two-factor authentication on all our accounts. Standard agency security practices.
We’re not a bank. We won’t pretend to have bank-level security. But your name and phone number are reasonably safe with us.
Children
This website isn’t for children. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you’re under 18 and somehow ended up here, go do something more interesting.
Changes To This Policy
If we change anything material in this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. If the change affects how we handle your data significantly, we’ll email you about it.
